Just as in most industries, professional coaching has its periods of high demand and those times when clients are few and hard to come by.  This month we focus on how to create a dynamic marketing strategy to move you through those lulls in business and to make the most of your downtime.

If you have no idea what we mean then this special edition is just for you. Social media is all the rage these days.  If you aren't a twittering twit on Twitter, a recommended link on LinkedIn or insanely addicted to Facebook, then you are really behind in the times.

These online networking applications belong to a group most commonly known as social media. Social media are internet-based tools used to share and discuss information consisting of user-created content including video, audio, text or multimedia works. Blogs, wikis and instant messaging are all forms of social media.

Applications such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Skype and Facebook bring all of the best elements of social media into one forum allowing users to connect and network with one another in new and unique ways. Many coaches are successfully using social media to find new clients and to develop more personal relationships with existing ones.  Some coaches are even finding ways to deliver their services solely via these platforms.

This month's edition of the LCSN newsletter focuses on your professional speaking skills. As coaches, we tend to be really passionate in how we deliver our craft; however, not so enthusiastic when it comes time to buckle down and market our services.
